Big Spring Mrs. Walker ( Nina) Reed, 65, of Big Spring died at 3:45 a.m. Saturday at Hall-Bennett Hospital after a short illness. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at 11th & Birdwell Lane Church of Christ. Byron Corn, pastor, will officate. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park, directed by Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home. Born July 29, 1914 in Hamilton County, she was the daughter of Jessie Lawrence and Emma Lee Brummett. She married Walker Reed Nov 5, 1930 in Big Spring. She was a housewife. She was a member of 11th & Birdwell Lane Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert, of Tyler; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Claudia) Headley of Whitehouse; her father, Jessie Brummett of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Willadean Cipriani of Riverside, Calif. and Eunice Germany of Watsonville, Calif.; a half-sister, Treva Hoffman of San Antonio; five grandsons; and a number of cousins. Pallbearers will be Steve Headley, Dee Headley, Owen Reed, Kyle Reed, Boyd Reed, and David Bordofske.
